Probes and coaxial pipes

The probes are designed in particular for use with point level sensors. The sensors allow measurement of levels, especially of liquids in tanks, thus monitoring and controlling running processes. The probes are directly integrated in the process which means above all special requirements on the materials used. On the one hand the probes used have to be suited to the environment and liquids whose level is to be determined. Only then can an application of long life and with reliable function be ensured. On the other hand the process must not be influenced. In food technology, for example, the materials of the probes have to be adapted to the requirements resulting from the application.

Depending on the application or installation probes and coaxial pipes are required for ifm level sensors of type LR. For level measurement of oil or other low-dielectric media, for example, the use of coaxial pipes is necessary. The probes and pipes are used in numerous industrial applications such as:
